The River's Current (4th Grade)
Artwork Information:
Our 4th grade artists celebrated their individuality and imagination in this flowing, collaborative artwork. Inspired by the smooth shapes of river rocks, each student received several custom-cut panels, inviting them to express their own unique style. Using their choice of materials—paint, collage, markers, and more—students transformed each “rock” into a personal work of art, reflecting the diversity of creative voices in our classroom. Once complete, all the river rock panels were assembled onto a black matte board, forming a vibrant, unified river of creativity. Like stones in a stream, each piece stands out on its own, yet together they create a harmonious whole—reminding us that every artist’s voice is essential in the journey we share.
